Variable Attenuator |

SLOC provide two kinds of variable attenuators for different application. The circular variable attenuator can make the optical density linearly varies around a 0°-270° circle for measuring laser energe farthest. As for the square one, the optical density linearly varies across the length for measuring laser energe. |

Circular Variable Neutral Density Filter is designed to attenuate the wide spectrum of low energy laser light from UV to near IR wavelength. The optical density gradient varies from 0–1.0, 0-1.5, 0-2.0 and 0-3.0 around a by simply rotating the filter from 0 to 360°. The circular variable attenuator operates in visible and NIR light. A new and reliable film of NiCrFe has been designed to achieve broadband attenuation. The second surface of this filter is coated with a broadband visible antireflection coating to minimize the reflective loss from the second surface. |
