Fiber Operation Guide

1) Please take away the adhesive tape carefully when take the module out of the package.

2) Pay attention to the following table of “fiber and cable retention and side pull limit”, and fiber not allowed to be curved so much.

3) Keep the fiber end clean before use; clean the connector’s surface with super clean wiper first before every time of using.

Note: If the fiber end is not clean, it would cause the fiber output power decline, and for a long term operating, it would cause the fiber end damage.

4) Please cover the cap when not using the connector.

5) When operating on the connectors, please handle the body of connector, not just pulling the fiber or boot.

6) Don’t folds or press on the fiber leads or it would cause the fiber damage.

7) Pay attention when operating or handling the products, or the heavy mechanical vibration or impact it may cause the products failure.

8) Fiber is not allowed to be curved so much, please keep the diameter if curvature should be >25mm for the SM/PM Fiber and 300 times greater than fiber core diameter for the multi-mode fiber.
